Victor, N.Y. - What started out as a blazing hot afternoon turned into a delightfully refreshing evening for visitors who toured the Cedar Hollow complex on Route 96. At a June 17 Open House sponsored by the Victor Chamber of Commerce, guests gathered under a tent to sample an assortment of complimentary foods and wines, and compete to win door prizes and raffles. Chamber VIPs and guests toured Cedar Hollow businesses and shops as the spicy aroma of India House cuisine blended with the savory scents of wood-fired Lucca Pizza and enveloped the celebration.

Cedar Hollow owners Kurt and Barbara Bernier were on the front line to welcome guests. They are clearly proud of their Cedar Hollow community.

"We are looking to make it a destination for women in particular, and a great place for a successful business," said Kurt Bernier. "We offer a combination of a convenient, accessible location, lots of parking and flexible, affordable space."

There's harmony, but also a note of diversity at Cedar Hollow.

"At present we have a combination of services and retail shops that provide acupuncture, spa services, hair and nails, massage therapy, women and children's clothing consignment, consignment furniture and home accessories," Kurt continued. "Our businesses include office furniture supply, audio and video service and dental, landscape and building supplies.

The Berniers aren't just landlords at the 7353 State Route 96 property.

"We have a vested interest in the success at Cedar Hollow as we also own Changing Closets and Barb operates that business," Kurt said.
